EHH Report for Data Quality - The Permanent Housing Tile
Please see below for a detailed description of each column in the Permanent Housing tile of the EHH Report for Data Quality. This information may be used for program analysis, data quality review, and/or local funding decisions. Column header | Field description |
Local Homeless Coalition | This is primarily applicable to the BoS, where the CoC is divided into regional coalitions |
Program ID | The program’s ID number in HMIS |
Programs Name | Program name in HMIS |
Project Type Code | Included projects types are: PH, PSH, and RRH |
Total Clients in Reporting Period | The number of clients whose enrollment was active during some or all of the reporting period |
Total Clients Newly Enrolled | The number of clients with a project start date within the enrollment period |
Total Clients Exited | The number of clients with a project end date within the enrollment period |
Number of Clients with Housing During Period | This uses the Housing Move in Date (HMID) field on the HoH’s enrollment screen to count how many of the total clients were housed in the project for at least part of the reporting period. |
Data Completeness Score | Completion rate for the all fields on a client's profile and enrollment screen. This includes fields such as DoC, race, gender, insurance status, etc. The accompanying Program Details Report can be used to locate incomplete data. |
Exit Destination Data Completeness | Completion rate for the exit destination field for all clients who exited during the reporting period. |
Annual Assessment Completion Percentage | Annual assessments are completed once per year on the anniversary of the HoHs enrollment start date. This field reports the completion rate for all clients who were active during the reporting period and enrolled for 1-year or longer. |
Average days to data entry for new entries | HMIS policies state that data must be entered within six days of the event. This field compares the project start date to the date of data entry to obtain an average. This number should be less than six |
Average Days to Data Entry for Exits | Similar to above. For housing projects this number should be less than six days. |
Exiter Length of Stay: Time from Entry to Exit for exits in period | The average time clients are enrolled in the project |
Number of Clients w/Move-In During Reporting Period | This is the number of people who obtained housing during the reporting period. It should be smaller than or equal to the "number of clients with housing." |
Average Days to Move-in in Period | The period of time from the program start date to HMID for clients whose HMID occurred within the reporting period. |
No Move-in Average Time from Entry in period | The average length of time in the project for clients who exited the program during the reporting period without obtaining housing, ie the HMID was still blank when they exited. |
Exits to Perm | Looks at the information entered into the exit destination field for all clients who exited during the reporting period |
Exits with No Move-in | The percentage of exited client who exited without having moved in |
Unit Utilization | This calculates the utilization rate using the unit inventory assigned in HMIS. If there are questions about the HMIS inventory contact your ICA HMIS system administrator |
Clients Increasing Total Income | Similar to SPM 4, this looks at income changes for all adults in the household during the reporting period. |
