[HSNG-105] Weekly Housing Census

Report Purpose and Summary

This is an enrollment-based report intended to serve as a seven-day review of housing programs. The attendance displayed is the number of clients that held a bed night for the corresponding day.  

Instructions

Make sure you are operating in Clarity under the agency you are running the report for. You can check and change this under your name in the top right corner.

Step 1: Click on the Launchpad, then click on the Reports icon. 

Step 2: In the Report Library, click the down arrow next to the Housing folder to expand the section.  

 

Step 3: Click the Run button to the right of [HSNG-105] Weekly Housing Census.

Reporting Parameters

Step 4: Enter the following parameters

Report Date Range Specify the report start and end date 
Report Output Format Choose *Web Page, PDF, or Excel

*Drilldown Functionality is available when run in Web Page Format 

Step 5: Click submit

The file will be sent to the Report Queue. Once the report is processed, you will receive a notification that the report is ready.

To open the report, either select Open on the popup or click the Queue icon and then click Open.

Reporting Details

This report breaks down by project name and type:

        Emergency Shelter – Individuals and Households

        Transitional Housing – Individuals and Households

        Permanent Supportive Housing – Individuals and Households

        Safe Haven – Individuals and Households

If a project is set-up as a project type: Emergency Shelter, and the tracking is set as ‘Night-by-Night’ then a Bed Night Attendance service will need to be provided each night of the stay to be included in the report.  

Drilldown functionality

The household size section has this functionality within each group of people. The drilldown will list basic demographic information for each household member. The unique identifier column in the drilldown contains the link to the Client Profile.
