[HSNG-108] Housing Census

Report Purpose and Summary

This is an Entry/Exit based report for housing programs. If Emergency Shelter and NbN tracking the bed nights are also used in generating the report. For Permanent Housing programs the Housing Move-in Date is also considered. The report gives users a day-to-day account of the bed occupancy during the reporting period.

Instructions

Make sure you are operating in Clarity under the agency you are running the report for. You can check and change this under your name in the top right corner.

Step 1: Click on the Launchpad, then click on the Reports icon.

Step 2: In the Report Library, click the down arrow next to the Housing folder to expand the section.

Step 3: Click the Run button to the right of [HSNG-108] Housing Census.

Reporting Parameters

Step 4: Enter the following parameters

Program Status	Choose which program status to include: All Programs Active Programs Inactive Programs Please note, only active programs will be displayed in the list, how if you choose ‘All Programs’ it will include any project (active or inactive).
Program Type(s)	Only residential program types are listed All Multi select (hold either control/command/shift button to select multiple)
Program(s)	Choose which program(s) to include: All Single select for a single program Multi select (hold either control/command/shift button to select multiple)
Veteran Status	Choose one single select option: All No Yes Client Doesn’t Know Client Refused Data not Collected
Whom you want to generate report for?	Return results: Persons Household
Report Date Range	Specify the report start and end date
Report Output Format	Choose Web Page, PDF, or Zip with XLSX*

*Drilldown Functionality is available when run in Web Page Format

Step 5: Click submit

The file will be sent to the Report Queue. Once the report is processed, you will receive a notification that the report is ready.

To open the report, either select Open on the popup or click the Queue icon and then click Open.

Reporting Details

Universe:

Permanent Housing, including Rapid Re-housing
o Active enrollment in a PH project (Project Type = [3, 9, 10, 13]) at Point-in-Time AND
o Project Start Date <= Housing Move-in Date <= Point-in-Time date/Report End Date
Emergency Shelter, Night-by-Night
o Active enrollment in an Emergency Shelter, Night-by-Night project at Point-in-Time AND
o Corresponding, Attendance generated, any Residential Service for the night of the Point-in-Time
Emergency Shelter (Entry/Exit), Safe Haven, Transitional Housing
o Active enrollment in a corresponding project at the Point-in-Time

For all project types, program exits on the Point-in-Time date will not be counted in the census.

Drilldown functionality available by clicking on either a date or number of clients to vies a list of clients by unique ID, Client Name, Data Quality and the responsible staff member.
